German Wirehaired Pointer Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization that formed due to the rising number of German Wirehaired Pointers and mixes being euthanized in shelters in the Midwest and other areas of the U.S. We are an independent working organization that is NOT affiliated with any Breed Club.

We work with shelters and other legitimate 501c3 rescue agencies to preserve, protect, and rehabilitate GWP's that deserve a chance of a better life. We are not of unlimited resources, but do not wish to put a price on a needy dog's life. We will go the distance to help all GWP's we can realistically care for.
