UPDATE: Doesn't JOE look great? He is learning how to be a family dog, going on outings, living inside, walks on leash, and crate training! He is quite a character according to his foster mom...a tremendous dog!! I think anyone would love this dog! Dogs that have been well cared for like Joe are in their prime at 7 years of age!
Joe is a sweetie! He is 7 years old, AKC registered, OFA "good" and eyes certified. He also has his NAVHDA natural ability test! He was turned in by his breeder due to down sizing....(on paperwork) also the breeder was no longer breeding or hunting. Joe is very solid in temperament. Rode in transport without a crate laying in the back seat with his legs crossed. He has been very well cared for...up to date with everything, and kept in an outdoor kennel unfortunately...so he would need some help with potty training. Most of these well behaved laid back dogs catch on so quickly! Please email us for info on Joe...

He is BEAUTIFUL! My parents have raised GWP's for years and he looks just like the 2 females they have right now. Where is Joe located right now? I live in California and dream of adopting one of these amazing dogs. My first soul mate was my GWP "Monty" and I've been madly in love with the breed since then! How is Joe with other dogs, kids, household pets?
Joe has been with a trainer since taken in. He is a big old sweetie, appears to be good with other dogs, and has had a lot of formal training. We would not know about kids until he comes to live with us. He is reported to be a very nice dog.
Can you tell me where Joe currently is?

Great dog...but very large...85lbs.
Seems like Joe's a hunter or at least has that background... not typical for rescue situations as your site info also states... Is hunting and continuing with the versatile levels still possible?
You would have to check with NAVHDA to see...in the old days I don't think so, but today I am told it may be different. He got perfect scores in his tests...he is 7 years old, but in very good excellent condition.
His foster Dad checked and yesm he is already registered with NAVHDA so can continue with anything
Is smoken joe neutered or in tack, would he come with akc papers?? and what is the adoption fee for him??
and what part of minnesota is he in??

How's Joe doing in foster care? Is he adjusting to living inside? Is he okay with use of a crate?
he is doing great....loves the other dogs, loves being inside...he is good in the crate with Kongs or bones to keep him occupied.
