Lily is Indi's sister. She also will need a breed savvy home. She will come fully vetted also. She tends to be very silly, hard headed, is doing very well on her leash training. She will need a patient home that will incorporate obedience in a class setting. She can be a bulldozer...so kids 10+ only for this sweet girl!

Lily is an extremely special dog that is so smart, and has come so far. She loves her people, gets along with other dogs...and is a jewel. She is full of zest no doubt...but after her long walks, she mellows out quite nicely! She will need an active home that will wear her out!

Annie is a puppy that found herself either lost or dumped.She is 6-9 months old according to the vet. No microchip, has a natural tail and dews. She is very friendly, nd likes other dogs. Gunther is an extremely sweet dog. He loves to be with his people and is great with kids both big and small. Gunther loves to cuddle and will make a great family pet. He is gun shy so no hunting for this boy but he does love to run and play. He also loves to take long walks and is very laid back.

 Gustolph was found lost or abandoned in the countryside. A good Samaritan took him in gave him medical care and about 20lbs. He was extremely emaciated. He is reported to be a meek natured sweet boy, that is possessive of his food with other dogs. Being possessive around other dogs can be  a common trait with this breed. UPDATE: Pumpkin's foster Dad says she is a true Gem! He says she is very laid back, and likes to lay at his feet while he is on the computer. Pumkin is a lovely family pet that gets along with the other dogs in her pack, and loves to be with people. She is a very sweet girl at just 2 years of age. She would love a forever home of her own!

He loves all people and one of his favorite places is on someone’s lap, getting a tummy rub.  He can get a little rough when at play so will need close observation with children and smaller animals for a while.  But he is eager to please and will not require a ‘heavy’ hand.

Ruger will NOT be adopted as a hunter, but a family companion.  If his new family does hunt and wants to try him in the field, that is fine.  And he may be a good hunter; we have no way of knowing at this point.  Please do not apply for adoption if that is your foremost intention.

UPDATE ON RUGER

He will heel on leash or harness. Knows sit, stay, down and kennel. He stays close when off-leash and knows his boundaries. His recall when off-leash has improved greatly. Has shown a bit of separation anxiety when the family is gone and has knocked over the trash can a few times but is improving in that area as well. He can be left unkenneled in the house with the other dogs now. He never has destroyed anything. He gets super excited at mealtime but will sit nicely before he is given his meal.

Ruger has grown to a healthy weight of 59 pounds; no longer skin and bones. He is extremely intelligent and catches on quickly what is expected of him. He will make a great companion for any family.
